Innocent..young..pure ..that’s what I was
Does it make you feel guilty that you took that from me..but again, what does?
You gave me everything, your heart, your body, your soul..wait wait PAUSE
I’m pretty sure that was me..cuz I can’t seem to remember what you gave me..
Oh wait, I know exactly what you gave me..you gave me self doubt that’s like glue to my personality..

You gave me the feeling of being worthless & delusional which I’m still working on curing
You gave me the ability to hate not only myself but you as well..
You gave me the claws I never had..yeah I said claws..didn’t you used to call me kitty?? I guess it became a part of reality..
How else would you explain the many scars and scratches on my body??
I didn’t come outta my hiding place to say this crap..I already know you don’t get it & never will..

I didn’t come to say I’m over you cuz I’m not..it’s not that I love you it’s just that I hate you a bit too much..
I’m not as heartless as you think I am..you did hurt me..
But I’m done hiding
Done begging myself to stop being blue..
Done crying and having no clue..
Done waiting for the rescue
