Really could be about everyone at the moment. I just can't speak words that would be audible. Hmm, could be stages from anger through to acceptances or at least.. the ability to acknowledge it.

I could cry
Behind these eyes
Are tears waiting to be shed

Are answers

Are questions to be asked
Behind these eyes
Are horrific scenes
And dreams
Beneath this skin
Is a monster
Beneath this skin
Are flames
Beneath this skin
Is a whole cosmos
Waiting to be
Untamed
Beneath these ribs
There is nothing
Beneath these ribs
You can enter if you dare
Beneath these ribs
Are just shattered pieces in my stomach
Beneath these ribs
Is air
But beneath this smile
I am numb
Beneath this smile
Is a frown
Beneath this smile
I am so disappointed
That even if I tried moving my lips to speak
The frog in my throat would squeak
The tears in my eyes would peek
The broken heart in my stomach leak
It would melt through like acid
Trust me the outcome would be bleak
So I’ll smile
Just don’t ask me to speak.
