I'll Never Say I Love You

I hate when people say I love you and then break hearts. You should only say those words if you honestly mean it, otherwise it means nothing.........
I’ll never say I love you
Even if I do
I'm not a Disney princess
There is no dream come true
The only time I said it
I broke your heart in half
And slowly you've forgotten
How to smile and how to laugh
So please don't hold your breath
I will not change today
I swear to never break a heart
Please turn the other way
How can I forgive myself
For hurting an innocent soul
I took your love for granted
You paid a heavy tole
You see I have no other choice
But lock my heart away
I will never hurt another
Those words I’ll never say
Now I know you hate me
And you have every right
But you'll never hear my wretched sobs
That gets me through the night
Maybe one day you'll forgive me
Put your hatred on the shelf
You can learn to accept the pain
But I’ll never forgive myself
So darling if you love me
What I say is true
I'll never say I love you
Even if I do
