Serenity Point Of View - 3rd period

I was now back into my happy mood after second period. Mr. Ward was actually nice to me. Maybe because I was new and I still knew the material he was teaching. I was almost the only person raising my hand. Science was my favorite subject next to design. Natalie and I met at our lockers and walked to the girls locker room door. While we were walking I still hear the same words from this morning. To make things more interesting I turned to Natalie and told her to watch me.

I look to find a boy staring at me so I winked at him and kept walking. When I turned my head back he was looking at me with lust filled eyes. What I didn't get was the fact some people keep calling us emos, some of the boys, and girls look at us some with envy. This is a weird school, but the guys are hot.

When we came into the locker room we went to the teacher office and got our lockers. They were right next to each other. Before I left to get dressed I asked Mrs. Barnes when track tryouts were. They were actually tomorrow so we didn't need our stuff so we left it in our lockers and got dressed. I had to change everything, even my socks, I don't want me shoes stinking, even though my shoes don't stink. I put on a tank top under my shirt just in case we go outside and it gets hot.

We walked out the door and into the gym. The 2 teachers, Mr. and Mrs Barnes, classes went outside. They told us to go to the track and run 4 laps, then stretch.

"When everyone's done we'll have a series of tests for EVERYONE to do so we can see what all of you can do. Now GET RUNNING!" Mr. Barnes yelled and we started running. We had everything down.

I looked around and noticed that the 2 people I disliked the most was in this class. Melissa, and the boy's name I learned was Collin. I also noticed Owen was in this class. As we started running Natalie and I decided our first lap we were going to take it easy, then on our second we were to sprint like we were running from the cops. While running I remembered Natalie didn't tell me why she was mad earlier.

"So Nats, why were you mad earlier today?"

She pointed to the girl walking/jogging together. It was Melissa and another girl named Rebecca, wearing really short shorts. "Well first she interrupted me when I was trying to introduce myself, she's a stupid bimbo, and I accidentally bumped into the boy right there-pointed to a boy with black hair and reddish highlights, his name is Andrew, he's in my biology class-and all he did was call me emo. I'm getting tired of everyone judging me without even knowing me!"

That was Natalie's biggest pet peeve. People judging her without taking the time out to know her.

"What about you? You looked kinda heated earlier" Nat asked as she started to cool down.

"Well that girl Melissa was pushing my buttons, and then that perv Collin over there slapped my butt, and called me emo and a word I'd rather not say right now."

After we told each other our stories we finished our one lap. We were way behind, but not for long. We started running really fast. I think we were running to burn off steam. We were done before we knew it. Everyone was on their 3rd lap when we were done. It took us about 5 minutes and 45 seconds, this was a record for us.

"Hey can I talk to you girls for a second?" Coach asked her.

"Sure" we said in unison. "Well I know you girls are trying to try out for soccer. I haven't seen you girls kick yet but I'm pretty sure you can kick, but you sure can run. So would you girls like to be on the team and just go to tryouts tomorrow so I can see you girls kick?"

We just nodded our heads because we were speechless. WE WERE ON TEAM WITHOUT REALLY TRYING OUT!!!

After our encounter with coach we did the new kid tests and passed all of them. People had a look of awe on their faces to see two "emos" so good at sports. We even beat little miss skanks in the cheerleading. So far, my day is pretty good.
