iJango Web Portal Revealed at Las Vegas Launch
Report from the Las Vegas launch of iJango, a network marketing company that has figured out of way to monetize searches, email, music downloads and much more. The iJango web portal that will make all this happen was revealed for the first time Sat. Aug 1st to a crowd of approx. 1500 anxious people.
The event started at 2 pm and I got there about 12:45, just in time to get my wristband to get in. I then met with my potential upline and was promptly introduced to the powers that be iJango. This was very impressive I must say. It is very important to either be connected to the top or know someone close who is. This is how you get things done in network marketing. I never just join and opportunity, I join the people in that opportunity. Anyone who's ever been left on their own knows what I'm talking about.
After meeting all the big wigs we went to get in the long line at the Encore hotel which was very lavish and elegant. Everything was done first class I might add. As we moved towards the doors to get inside they shuffled us past a beverage line, several sandwich trays and some giant cookies. No one said I was going to get fed too! This was an unexpected treat. At that point I went inside, ate my sandwich and began to mingle.
I immediately noticed that the crowd was just a little different than the norm for one of these launches. I saw very few suits. I saw lots of regular folks who did not seem intimidated by their surroundings but joyful and excited about what was to come on the big screens. Let me just say now that they were not disappointed.
Cameron Barrett Sharpe was introduced by Steve Smith (Excel) as the visionary behind iJango. Although a little ragged around the edges from all the conference calls, Cameron delivered the goods. He ran us through a complete live demo of the iJango web portal that distributors, also called directors, would be giving away at no charge to customers. I must say I was blown away. I got it. I see now why all the fuss. It's a win win deal. The customer get's something very useful for free and the directors get a piece of all the money generated by google adsense, adwords clicks, itunes downloads, etc. They even pulled off a branded iJango email account powered by Google.
The whole concept is based on a hub page. A spot where we can, to quote George Carlin, " put all our stuff". Our stuff being a miniature sized Facebook gateway, a Twitter gateway, a Flickr gateway, a Youtube gateway, Gmail, Aol, iTunes, Rhapsody, Espn and the list goes on and on. It's just cool. Everywhere you see adsense, as Cameron put's it- ChaChing! There are also over 1000 major merchants who have shopping portals built in. If someone goes there and makes a purchase, you guessed it - ChaChing!
So here's the guts of it. As a distributor or director you have the ability to give away this portal, or more correctly, toolbar. That toolbar is downloaded by your friends and customers from your home page. The iJango toolbar is coded to you so everyone that downloads it and visits any of the revenue generating sites puts money in your pocket. Your upline also shares in the revenue generated by your customers. This is just Stupid Simple in my books. Cameron said they wanted iJango to be the easiest network marketing company to make money in, EVER! Seems so.
They also announced plans for an iJango browser. An iJango social network that looked to me to be very similar to Facebook. When was the last time Facebook sent you a check? How bout Google? Ok maybe Google if you have an adsense account and a high traffic web site. But you get the drift. Yahoo and Bing are in this also. You can search all three from your convenient hub page.
At this point the meeting was brought to a close but Cameron wanted to point out that the more popular iJango becomes, the more money on the table. What he was referring to is Alexa rankings. Now they are in the top 8000 most trafficked websites in a very short time. As the rankings improve so does the ability to command higher dollars from potential advertisers. So as the ad dollars increase, so do commissions. At close the crowd was pretty much in a frenzy including myself.
I then proceeded to get with my upline and joined on the spot. I get it, I see it, I want in and so should anyone who spends a good deal of time on the internet. It's, to coin a cliche, a real NO Brainer.
