If You Were With Me

The sky is black and moon is full
The stars are out and the breeze is cool
I’m parked on the cliff overlooking the sea
This would be perfect if you were with me

I would hold you in my arms so tight
And tell you how much I love you tonight
I would kiss your lips and ask you to be
My wife for life if you were with me

But I’m all alone up here tonight
And in my opinion this does not seem right
But I keep on thinking how happy I’d be
With myself and world if you were with me
