If You Were To Die
Just something I thought up after reading a sad book...
If you were to die
I’d cry a thousand tears
Maybe more
If you were to die
I’d wear black every day
And forever mourn
If you were to die
I’d cremate you
And keep you by my bed
If you were to die
I would constantly see your face
In my head
If you were to die
I wouldn’t eat
Or drink
If you were to die
I’d miss the color of your blush
The pink
You used to whisper that in my ear
Until the inevitable happened
And you died before me
Before my very eyes
In my arms
And you ceased to be
Now my life is empty
Because you died
And I miss you every day
I’ll never forget you
I’ll always love you
Until my final day
I’d cry a thousand tears
Maybe more
If you were to die
I’d wear black every day
And forever mourn
If you were to die
I’d cremate you
And keep you by my bed
If you were to die
I would constantly see your face
In my head
If you were to die
I wouldn’t eat
Or drink
If you were to die
I’d miss the color of your blush
The pink
You used to whisper that in my ear
Until the inevitable happened
And you died before me
Before my very eyes
In my arms
And you ceased to be
Now my life is empty
Because you died
And I miss you every day
I’ll never forget you
I’ll always love you
Until my final day
