If We’d Only Believe

If we’d believe that God is indeed our Father and all the money is in His hand so regardless of the circumstances in our lives, He will provide all we need, wouldn’t that be awesome?

If we’d believe that God loves us just as much He loved His Own Son, namely Jesus Christ, and He was willing to offer Him as sacrifice for our salvation, would we ever doubt that we are truly loved?

If we’d believe that we are citizens together with the saints in Heaven, yes, here and now, what problem couldn’t we overcome? The Bible says we do not belong to this world but every single one who have Jesus Christ as Redeemer and Lord, are citizens with the saints, once again –here and now, not only after we die.

If we believed that God is Almighty and has all the power, He holds the Universe in His Hands and He holds our breath of life in His hands too, plus He created us to reach our best potential and live our life to the fullest - for that purpose having created the best plan ever for each individual, He even told us that every single thing that occurs in our lives is working for the best and has a final good outcome - if we could only believe…our struggles would be always showered with the light of His peace and hope that what looks so discouraging today, might actually be a great blessing tomorrow…

If we believed that when we go to pray we are really talking not to the president of the richest country (not Bush or Obama who might have the means to solve your difficulty…but might just have other priorities) and not to a friend who might have the best intentions (yet might lack the means to solve your problem) but to God Himself who loves us like a Good Father, with a love that we have never experienced before, a love that nurtures our every heartbeat and feeds with love our hungry soul… we’d never be so blind to miss the fact that we should first run to God and not run to Him as a last alternative for solving our crisis.

Oh but why can’t we believe God?

God is so meticulous and created us unique as He also created every flower different from another, from the tiniest leaf to the highest Sequoia tree, He stamped His fingerprint in all creation but we can’t believe because maybe some have never heard about God, or if they have, they left that information to a shallow level where it has no implications in their life at all.

But maybe you know about God and you might have been disappointed by those who pretended to have known Him. Yes the Church has acted in a non-Christian way in the past murdering innocent people, murdering Jews and no wonder that if you look at that…you just don’t want to be part of it…as I wouldn’t either. And God only knows how godly what should be the Church of Christ acts today.

Yet, God will not inquire of you to answer about anyone else’s acts or conducts. You will give an account about your own, God will as you:"What have YOU done with My Son? Why did YOU not believe Him?"

We just can’t afford taking God in a shallow manner and treating Jesus as if He is just another man. It is our duty as people to check and truly verify the information we have, to really see why is it that we believe whatever is that we believe and only after we ourselves have deeply checked facts, we can reject or accept something.

One day every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord and every knee will bow before God, but that is a day when you’ll want to be on His side …and not one of His enemies. No one has ever won a battle against God.

That’s why, as long as you are here, on Earth, check and over check why is it that you don’t believe God, and if you are a Christian check to see if you really know and believe who you are supposed to be in Christ Jesus. All people who came to Christ have their sins forgiven and God says they are New Creatures in Christ trough the renewing their your mind, believing God Who tells you what you really are now and what are the benefits of your new citizenship.

Believing God or disbelieving Him, we all will stand before Him one day…that’s why, as long as we can say "today", do not reject His call because no one can guaranty who’s day is tomorrow and the consequences are tremendous…an eternity of separation of God in hell. God did not create hell for people, hell was created for Satan and his angels, but no one can escape hell unless they enter the only door named Jesus Christ as long as they are still alive…and not after death when it is too late.

Why are your reasons not to believe Jesus? If you say you believe, do you act like it? Does your daily life show Jesus Christ? May God help us all.
