Once a good bridge player was asked by his new bridge partner: "Why do you need to psyche? I know that you are successful in psyching and you are using it sparingly, but you can win a tournament even without psychic bids!"
The player answered:
"Try to understand the soul of a winner. The success depends on your attitude... Do you know the anecdote about one renowned artist who often used to be invited to high society parties and balls? Then, when dancing or flirting with a lady , he used to whisper: "I would like to caress your breasts..."
"And what??"
"Well, he swears that although sometimes he was slapped, on average he was very successful!"
