If Only
Love when lost ....never returns....it stays within and lives on.......
When my eyes would be sinner
To look beyond your sight
If only I had expressed my love
Life would have been so right
You kept waiting
For my answer, But
Never did you understand my plight
If only I had met you once
Before you left outright
Now my morning’s witness
Moist pillows
Sheets half written, half white
If only I could forget you
Candles wouldn’t have burnt all night
