Ideas for a Rocking Bachelorette Party

Your best friend is getting married in two weeks, and you being the matron of honor are responsible for her bridal shower and her Bachelorette party. But you can’t seem to decide what to do? Is a house party fun, or a night on the town more like it? Here are some ideas for a Bachelorette party that sure to be a blast for the bride to be and everyone around…

• Party hard and bet on it – no this doesn’t mean you go out there are place bets on who is going to throw the best Bachelorette parts, this means why not have the Bachelorette part at a different venue. No more restaurants, clubs or bars, have a Bachelorette bash at a casino or a racing track. Go to Las Vegas if possible and have a gala time at the casinos there, or if Vegas is not your thing, have a Vegas style Bachelorette party in your home. Set out the poker or roulette table, hire a swanky bar tender and ask every one to dress casino style, and watch how the Bachelorette party becomes a success immediately.
• Pamper some more – most Bachelorette parties are the sort that requires you do dress your best, with high heels, dresses and accessories galore. But how about a Bachelorette party that requires you to undress! Get your mind out of the gutter and think pampering at a spa. This is going to be a Bachelorette party that isn’t going to be filled with finger foods and cocktails, but one that is filled with cleansing, steaming and lots of massages.
• Disco fever – get out your dancing shoes and rock the night away in a disco themed Bachelorette party. While dressing up think Saturday Night fever. If the bride is not up to going to a nightclub, bring the nightclub to her. Dim lights, large disco balls and foot tapping disco music, and don’t forget all the drinks typical to a disco night!
• Sing along – who doesn’t love singing into the mike while the TV screen is showing you the lyrics. A great theme for a Bachelorette party is a karaoke party. Bring out Gloria Gaynor, Cindy Lauper and lots of Kamikazes…
• Cheesy affair – A Bachelorette party with a fondue theme is a great way to bond with the girls. You can choose to book a table at a fondue restaurant and enjoy cheese and chocolate fondue or you can bring the fondue home, if you can. Lots of wine, cheese and gossip and a great way to enjoy a Bachelorette party.
• Mystery and Mystics – a Bachelorette party with a twist could be one where all the girls can get into the mystery of tarot cards, palm reading and fortune telling. Hire a tarot card reader, palm reader and a fortune teller, and for fun why not make it a mask themed party, adds to the aura of mystery all around.
• High Tea – for the classic bride, why not throw a classic high tea part. Serve tea, champagne, finger sandwiches, scones, petit fours and lots of class. This Bachelorette party can be organized at home, or you can indulge in a hotel tearoom
• Hunting – now don’t think I am talking about rifles and poor helpless animals, what I am talking about is less violent and more fun. A Bachelorette party that involves a treasure hunt sounds good doesn’t it? Give out the maps, and blow the whistle for the treasure (Gift certificates, champagne bottles, or gift hampers) hunt in someone’s backyard or garden.
• Go Cruisin’ – a great Bachelorette party, or weekend could be aboard a great cruise. Plan in advance and get great deals. If a cruise weekend cant be arranged, then a weekend to the beach or the lake is sure to bring out the best in everyone before the big day.
• Ride it out – These is my favorite, hire a limo…a stretch lime and go wherever you want. The guests can be picked up at one place and then the night is all yours. You can drink as much as you want, go to clubs, bars and even strip joints for kicks and have the time of your life.
