I Wished for a Night..
Here the poetess, wishes for a night with her man, watching him under the moon light.

Slowly and slowly it wooed…
He moved his hand within my hair…
It was a feeling I couldn’t compare…
The night glowed as a newly wedded bride,
I had a feeling, I couldn’t hide…
The sky was in its pinkest of shade,
Looking in his eyes, my sorrows seemed to fade…
He held me tight,
Being with him was such a delight…
I wished for a night…
I wished to see him under the moonlight…
I wrapped myself in a shawl,
I never wished for a man handsome, neither tall…
I wished for someone who would love me in sorrows and gay,
And accepts me for what I am, without dismay…
Here’s my man, here is me…
All this looked very dreamy…
I dreamt of my man, and made him mine,
This experience was truly divine…
I wished for a man,
I wished to make this night special, if I can,
I wished for a night…
I wished to see him under the moonlight…
