I Wish You...

The poetess here wishes her lover a good life, with her or without her... she recalls her childhood where she spent a good amount of time and now when she has grown up she dreams getting married to her man.
I wish you-
A life of a king...
A life that has all the bling...
Be blessed with a cloud that's white,
Be blessed with a beautiful night,
May the violets turn out to be as bright as yellow
Full of strawberries and mashmallow

Thinking about you all this while,
Walking with you down the aisle,
Never thought it would be worth a while
This ended up making me smile...

Just as I walked close to my window,
I could hear the noisy river that flowed just below,
It looked clear and clean,
Just as I looked; when I was I sixteen.
Carefree & Careless...
Confused & Aimless...
I lived like a princess yet a simple girl...
Happy with my Mc.Puff and Mc.Swirl
I craved for no diamonds or pearls...
Just wished for shinning curls...
Good were those days...
When I was Cindrella in school plays...

When I had a man of my choice...
Which was the only source for rejoice...
I was neither a Cinderella nor a beauty queen...
I don't remember how long it has been...
But I can still recall the places...
And can still find the traces...
Where I have spent my childhood...
Reading Red Little Riding Hood...
Thkining about the times I spent...
The time I could never repent.
When my mother was the only person I adored...
Through her hands everything was cured...
Now, I look for her by my side...
On the pillow once, where I cried...

Once he promised me for the stars...
But now he is nowhere, it's been thousands of hours...
He praised my eyes...
Not once, or twice but thrice...
Wrapped in white linen, I stood before my mirror,
My diamond bracelet shone with gold & all that glitter...
Felt like a blessed bride...
Walking with my man, in full pride.
Leaving behind all my worries,
All my pain and all the buries...
My heart thumping hard in my chest...
Just as my name was addressed...

Just as I walked down the aisle...
Ah! There he was... but it still looked a mile...
As I walked, as slow as a snail...
Followed by two little angels holding my veil...
The air swung in full blow...
Making my whitest gown flow...
A solitaire was slipped into my finger...
Yellowish golden, just like Amber
Couldn't wait any longer to say those two words...
I do, I do, I do... said we Lovebirds...
As the clock struck nine
I couldn't wait to make him all mine...
Just as he was about to kiss...
Something drew me away and I gave it a miss...
I realized...
It was just a dream that I saw last night...
When I was dressed in complete white...
