I Wish I Never Met and Can Forget You

This is about a guy who's been haunted about his past...
I feel it so often,
The remembrance,
Of it all,
From the day it happened...

The gentle breeze,
Of the summer air,
The sunlight hit,
Your golden hair.

Your green eyes,
Seek for mine,
I hadn't realized,
You had cried.

You walked over,
You said, 'Hello.'
Little did I know,
You were in trouble.

Side to side,
Our hearts connect,
You said, 'Bye.'
And you left.

The menacing sound,
Of a gunshot,
Ever so loud,
You fell on the ground,
Never had I forgot...

Your lifeless body,
Your dead eyes,
They haunt me,
Every single night.

Your gray face,
With so much blood,
Covered the place,
Had no-one heard?

I can't remember,
The beautiful you,
All your features,
Were something I loved.

Now, I can't get rid of.
It pains me to say,
But I wish,
I never met,
And can forget,
You.
Did you like the poem?
Loved it! Keep it up!
It's alright. Could have been better.
As if! Pfft. No way!
