I Want You More Than You Could Know

i put on a fake smile . . .
Supposedly I am happy now
Well, happy for me at least
You try the same trick with me
Pretend you’re moving on

I don’t think so somehow

My love still lingers in my heart
Calling out to you
We try to fly our separate ways
And try to do what's for the best
But we fly the skies with broken wings

It was a mistake letting you go
And I wish you had fought for me
But instead you give me that fake smile
And tell me that you're moving on

So you soldier on
Determined to get over me
But let me tell you now
Before you waste your time

You and I are meant to be
I have come to accept it now
We are lost unless together
Please don’t deny this fact
