I Want You Away

How do you describe getting hurt and when you cannot get to love the same person like before..
I Want You Away
Dragging through the rain I hold the mighty threads of your name..
My shoes wheezing wet, laces tired.
You engulf me with our moods.
The chaos inside of you, you say
Is but your luv for me.
I cannot affect.
I plead you to step away
Leave the cold dampness inside to heal
The chance to break the deal.

The walls are charred red,
You’re gushing at your enlightenment, uncared of my plight
How well you have endured, evolved
Look harder
I sigh, not for me

You ridicule me for all that I don’t seem to feel.
Darling, I warned you.
In the times when you could walk by and close my windows to the entire world but you..
I would smile thinking of the smile meant for me,

Shockingly I vaulted over the dying valley.
The flowers weathered and strewn, I cannot not know.
How long would have I stayed there.
Unendingly I am sure
You wouldn’t have been the savior and you still rnt.
Do you see?
I want you no more that way.
Not more than I want you away.
