I Want Him Back

I wish I could be with him
But now I can see that he is taken

I have someone that loves me
But I want to be with someone else

After the valentines dance he forced it on me
I liked it and now I want more

We went out once before
But now I want him back

We weren’t going out at the dance
But he kissed me

A long sweet kiss
Tongue and all

I stayed up last night thinking about him
And how I could get him back

Because of that delicious kiss his girlfriend broke up with him
But they soon got back together

He told me that a few girls asked him out
But I didn’t expect him to say yes

I can see it in his eyes
He still likes me

And I hope he knows,
I hope he knows that I still like him

I would drop my boyfriend to be with him again
But I know it won’t happen any time soon

I really like my boyfriend
But I would rather be with my ex

He writes me poems
Sweet poems

But I take them for granted
He really "loves" me

I can see it in his eyes
His dark eyes

But there is something missing
Something very important

I wrote "will you go out with me" on at least 50 papers
And gave them to my friends

I wanted to see if any of them would say yes
And at least half of them did

I gave one to my ex the day he started going out with this chick
But he never wrote back

Come to think of it
He never wrote me back

Oh well I guess I have to deal with my boyfriend
Just until my ex takes me back
