I walked alone down the street
I felt scared
My tears fell upon my heart
So heavy
I thought you cared.

My heart died that night
My dreams were shattered to bits.
And all because I dared to
Hope and think you cared.

I watched you walk out of my life
I knew you’d never return
I still dared to dream cause,
I thought you cared.
