I Spy (Chapters 9 and 10)

Chapter 9

I looked up and saw I was cradled in Will's arms. We were traveling in the car and both Valencia and Mira were sat across from us. I scrambled up as fast as I could and pulled away from Will, he looked startled but relieved.

"You were hurt." He said signaling to my side, which was now bandaged up. I frowned at him, a gunshot echoing through my head. I saw Valencia roll her eyes. "Can't cope with a mere shooting." Valencia giggled. I saw Mira frown at her cousin. "He's not dead Scar." Will informed me.

I brought my knees to my chest, not letting him get any closer. He looked annoyed by my behavior but he had always had a quick temper and was frightfully stubborn.

The car rolled to a stop inside the base and I got out on shaky legs. I headed inside, almost at a run to avoid Will. He'd pulled that trigger without a thought towards that man. "Scarlett." Will called after me.

I slipped inside and went to my room, shutting the door. A minute later there was loud knocking on it. "Scarlett open this, or I'll break it down." He yelled. "Go away." I shouted back. "I know it's hard to see someone be shot, he isn't dead and he was going to kill you if I didn't do anything." Will explained. "Please, go away." I said. I knew it was unfair but I wanted time away from him.

I heard him slump against the other side of the door and I sighed, stretching my legs out. I didn't hear him move hours later and I eventually went to the door, pulling it open and peeking through slightly. He was sat there, blonde and beautiful, waiting for me.

"William." I whispered, barely even a sound. He turned instantly, searching my face with pleading eyes. "Will, I love you." I told him. He nodded and stood up, tentatively pushing the door open to my room and stepping inside.

He held his arms out and this time I curled up in his embrace. He lifted me up and onto the bed, lying down and pulling me into his chest. "Sleep beautiful." He told me quietly and soon after I did.

When I woke up Will was looking around my room. I sat up and raised an eyebrow at him. He grinned and held up a pair of my pants. "Idiot." I muttered before swinging myself out of bed. "Come on, we should get breakfast, then you have team training outside the base." Will smiled. He took my hand and after I'd had a shower and changed we went to breakfast.

After breakfast Will dropped me outside the base along with Mira, Valencia and three other people. We were split into teams of three, me, Valencia and a boy called Robin. Then we were all given laser pads on our chest and back, followed by laser guns. The aim was to defend our base, three trees, and hit the other team as many times as possible with our guns.

And not to get hit by the other team members. Me, Valencia and Robin all followed our map to our base and stood by it. "I see you and Will, made up." Valencia commented. I nodded and aimed my gun into the distance.

"You're such a lightweight." She told me with an eye roll. There was a rustle from the trees behind and I turned quickly. "It's probably just a rabbit, you idiot." Valencia snapped at me. I glared at her and ventured further towards the noise.

As I was about to peel back the undergrowth a man, dressed in pure black and looking like an adult agent grabbed me. I screamed but he covered my mouth and dragged me kicking and screaming out onto the road and into a jeep, before locking me in, drugging me and driving.

"Is she awake yet?" Asked an impatient voice. I blinked and looked up, there were three adults, all dressed like guards and a boy, a couple of years older than me. "Scarlett, I presume." He said. I frowned and sat up. "Don't bother, we're all armed." He cautioned. "Who are you?" I asked.

"Yuri." He said with a smile. I put a hand to my pounding head. "You're probably wondering why your here?" He said. "Obviously." I snapped. "You're William's love." He said. I frowned at him. "It's true then." He grinned wider. "Well William has been giving me a lot of bother, we're an elite team and he keeps foiling our plans." Yuri told me.

I was about to speak but he pressed a pale, slender finger to my lips. "That's why I have you, Will won't be bothered with our plans while we have you, he'll be fixated on his lady." Yuri smiled, almost angelically. "He won't know you have me." I spat.

"Oh he'll know, we're the only ones who can gather this kind of information." He told me. I stared at all the guards, all stony faced and tough. "Don't worry I'll take good care of you." He promised, cupping my chin in his hand.

He beckoned me with his finger as he left the room but I didn't follow. "You follow or I make you." He snapped. I glared evenly at him. "Fine." He grinned, he grabbed both my hands pushing them behind my back and walking me out the room and into a study. He locked the door and dropped me onto the floor.

"I'll keep an eye on you." He smiled before perching behind a desk. I rubbed my wrists and glared at him."I must say I can see the attraction." Yuri said to me, tapping his fingers on the desk. Then he started writing quickly.

I scowled and hugged my knees. "I'm not an animal, you can't keep me here." I told him. He burst out into laughter. "You're mine now, my possession, my animal." He smiled. "I will never be yours." I warned him. "Really?" He countered. I nodded and he grinned, pulling open a draw in the desk.

"Come here." He commanded. I sat there. He stood up, the chair making a thud as he pulled away from it. "You will come here." He snapped. I glared at him, portraying all my hate for him in just my eyes. He held something up and I gaped at him, asking whether he was really serious. It was a black leather collar with a matching leather lead.

"Don't you dare." I cried, heading to the door and trying to turn the handle, it was locked. He walked me back against the door and I stared at him with wide eyes. With one hand he pinned my hands above my head. I struggled but he shoved a leg between mine to keep me still.

"You are my pet." He hissed, and I heard the snap as he fastened the buckle of the collar around my neck. I gasped as he clipped the leather lead to the collar and then tugged me to the other side of the room by it. I tried to unbuckle it but it was too tricky and I eventually gave up. "Now sit down." He smiled as I sat cross-legged at his feet. "Good girl." He said and carried on writing, keeping the end of the lead around his wrist.

About half an hour later he finished writing and sat back in his chair. He yanked me up with the collar and I glared at him as he put both hands on either side of my waist and pulled me onto his lap. Me straddling his legs and him grinning at me.

He lowered his lips to my neck and kissed slowly. I tried to pull away but he yanked the lead forward and I went with it. The knock on the door saved me and Yuri let out a frustrated sigh as he was called away for duty, I was left tied up to the heavy wooden desk.

Tears started rolling down my cheeks as I thought of Will. It seemed hours till Yuri returned and he unclipped my lead, grabbing my wrist instead and pushing me into a room. There was a video camera aimed at me and a glass wall behind it, where Yuri and two other men stood. They held up cards with writing on, they wanted me to say.

I started to read the cards. "See your Will is taking an awfully long time to find us, so I'm going to send him a little message to spur him on and make him worry." Yuri grinned, his smile sickly sweet. I gulped and repeated the words on the card.

Once I'd said it all the camera flicked off and Yuri came into the room, grabbing me and pulling me upright. He marched me up to a bedroom and shoved me inside. "You'll stay here, till your boyfriend shows up." He growled.

Chapter 10 - Final Chapter

This is the last one. It isn't very good.

Food was given to me occasionally as I sat perched on the bed, just waiting. Yuri occasionally visited if only to tease me and make me squirm in embarrassment. As the second night drew in I sat in the window sill, that's when I saw the figure darting across the grounds. My heart raced.

Yuri said he was going to kill him though. I bit my lip and went to the door, it was still locked and I tried kicking it but it wouldn't budge. A moment later I heard pounding footsteps and hushed voices.

The door was yanked open and Yuri stood there, he grabbed me holding me back against his chest and walking me downstairs, he stood outside the front door, holding me in the garden, a gun to my neck. "Show yourself, or she dies." Yuri called out. In a second Will appeared, his face set in a stern expression.

"Will." I choked but Yuri held the gun tighter. I heard Yuri gasp and managed to peer behind us. Mira held a gun to his back. "Don't worry, I don't mind shooting you." She hissed. Will branded a gun and it was a stand-off. Yuri and his men and Will and my friends all clutching guns at each other wondering who would shoot first.

"Give her to me and we'll go without bloodshed." Will growled. "Never." Yuri snapped. He dropped me to the floor and stood on my back with a boot, pinning me to the floor, he then aimed the gun at my head. "It's far too easy." Yuri smiled.

Will held up both hands in surrender. "I give myself." He offered. Yuri's face lit up and he pushed me away from him, grabbing Will. He held the gun to the side of Will's head and I gasped as Mira ran to my side, helping me up into a standing position.

The gun went off. Will lay on the floor and I heard an ear splitting scream. Will got up shakily and moved backwards to us. Valencia lay on the floor, blood seeping from her head. "She jumped in the way." Mira gasped, tears already falling down her cheeks.

I put both hands over my mouth. "We have to go." Will winced. "What about Valencia?" Mira demanded. "She's dead Mira." Will said softly before ushering us into a car and driving rapidly away.

Mira was sobbing and Will was deadly silent, he kept watching me in the rear view mirror. Mira soon fell asleep in her own tears on my lap and I looked at Will. "We're going away." He told me. I frowned. "We're not staying in this profession." He assured me.

I started to say something but he held up a hand to silence me. "I love you and that's why you're not going to be staying in this profession, I have a penthouse for us in the center of London, we'll be living there together." He explained.

"Will." I started. "Its final." He replied.

- Two years later -

"I'm home, gorgeous." Will called. I grinned and he grabbed me, twirling me around and kissing me. "How was it?" I asked. "Great." He smiled. "Aww, you're a fully certificated Doctor." I said ruffling his hair. He raised an eyebrow at me and I giggled.

He picked me up and carried me into the bedroom, setting me down and kissing me. "This is punishment for this morning." He warned me. Then he kissed me, long and hot. I unbuttoned his shirt and ran, my hands along his muscles.

"I love you." He told me one last time before we didn't do any more talking.
