I See Nothing
No Idea, just something running through my head…
I look into your eyes.
Hoping to see my feelings reflected back.
There's nothing there.
You have begun to shut me out.
I reach my hand out to you.
You ignore it.
I place my hand on your shoulder.
You brush it away.
There's so much I would love to say.
Like how I love you.
That I am always here for you.
Yet my soul and my heart won't let me.
I would be a fool to tell you that I love you.
My heart is breaking in a million pieces.
The only person who can fix it doesn't give a damn.
The loving arms that once wrapped around me has pushed me away.
The lips that used to kiss me are locked.
