I Remember

I want to remember all the good times we had.
But it seems when I try I only remember the bad.
I can remember how happy you made me.
I remember even when we had the worst day, how joyful your face would be.
I remember you could always turn my days around.
You could always turn my frown upside down.
I remember all the secrets that we shared.
You were the only one who really cared.
You stopped me from me doing alot of crazy things.
Then suddenly, things started to change.
You left this miserable world, you left me alone.
I know it's selfish but all I want is you here back at home.
No more secrets to be shared, no more laughs to show we care.
No more "I'll always be there." no more "you can call, I’ll always be here"
All I have left is regrets and pain.
Sometimes I feel like I’m stuck in a game.
But I’ve got to remember were not that far apart.
I remember because you’re always in my heart.
