So you're saying I'm not gonna be there for you?

The next morning.
Amilea's P.O.V
I woke up to see Dereck and I in spooning position. I looked at Dereck and saw that he was still sleeping peacefully. I got up off the bed trying not to make any noise. I didn't want to wake him up. I went into the hallway and walked downstairs and saw that Lucas and Stacey were sleeping on the couch. I bet she got on his nerves.
"I wonder what they did last night." I said quietly to myself. I looked at Lucas and for some reason I felt bad for him, I couldn't figure out why though maybe I feel like I have been leading him on.
1 WEEK LATER~~~~~
"Well who are you gonna take?" Stacey asked me. We were in school talking to each other in home room.
"I don't know." I said then signed. I was debating rather I was gonna take Lucas or Dereck with me to be there for me at Chelsea's funeral. My mom told me to take two friends with me. I already knew I was going to take Stacey but I needed 1 more. Lucas the boy who always been there for no matter what I did to or Dereck the boy I love but hurt me in the past.
"Well you gotta decide because the funeral is tomorrow." Stacey said. Just then Dereck walked in and sat on my lap.
"Get off me! You're heavy." I said laughing. He got up then leaned down and gave me a kiss. Stacey made some gagging noises.
"You two need to get a room." She said in disgust.
"Hey! I didn't say anything when you and Mike were slobbering down each others throat." I said then stuck my tongue out at her.
"Whatever." She said.
"So baby, what time is the funeral tomorrow?" Dereck said. Stacey and I just looked at each other. She gave me one of those you better tell him looks.
"Ummm yeah about that. I MIGHT be taking Lucas." I said not even looking at Dereck.
"Why are you taking Lucas?" He said. I can tell he was mad he sounds different when he's angry.
"I didn't say I was taking Lucas but I would be lying if I said that I wasn't thinking about it." I said softly.
"So you would rather take your friend then your own boyfriend." He said getting more angry. I didn't know he was going to react to it like that.
"It's not like that, I just need someone who's gonna be there for me during the funeral." I said.
"So you're saying I'm not gonna be there for you?" He said sounding offended.
"No I didn't mean to say it like that. I was just saying that Lucas has always been there for me all the time." I said.
"You know what, take pretty boy Lucas. I don't give a fuck." He said then walked out of the classroom.
"Dereck please." I said getting ready to cry. I didn't like fighting with Dereck, He's the first person I call when I get home from school. I put my head on my desk then started banging it.
"Don't worry Amilea, he won't be mad for long." She said consoling me.
"I sure hope so." I said sadly..
