I Promise You...

My boyfriend now had a messed up relationship before me and he didn’t think he could love again
I know you been though a lot of heartbreaks
And I bet it's hard for you to pull yourself together

But I want you to know that things will be different
I don't want you to suffer any more

I don't want you going to bed all stressed and worried
That is over and done with now that you’re with me

I don't want you thinking it’s always your fault
Because honestly it’s never your fault

It takes two, to tangle
But now that I've seen how happy you are when you’re with me

I'm going to make sure I do nothing to mess it up
