I Only Want You Ch.5

All 4 of us were walking to Marie's black and silver 1981 Ford Ranger. We both got matching cars to show how close we are I guess.

Me and Marie were behind Parker and Chase. They were making plans to go skating at the Carmel Skate park.

"You know Nicole.. You owe me bunches.." Marie said
"HA! Your funny stuff." I said
"No I’m dead serious." I looked at her and she had a pretty serious expression on her face.
Great.
"Your kidding me right?"
"No. Your only kidding yourself." she said

Was I really kidding myself.. This guy was an idiot! I can’t fall for him. I just can’t.

"Ayyo Nicole!" Parker said turning around to look at me "Your gonna have to ride with Chase. He’s not leaving his car here."
"No it’s cool. You can ride with him" I said putting on my Ray Ban Aviator glasses. "Me and Blondie here are going to McDo-"
Ah shoot! He will go bonkers if he found out that we were going there.

"McDans house for uhh... an assignment." I said. Safe!

"Yeah right. McDan is in Rome on his honeymoon." he stated.
Fabulous.. McDan (Blake is his real name) is the coolest teacher in our school. Even though neither of us had a class with him. He is a close friend of Bryan and Lizzie.

"Okay. We were going to MickeyDees." she said with puppy eyes.
"We were only getting drinks." I lied.

"Nah. Were covered." he said pulling out Organic Apple juice.
I was laughing so hard that I was about to cry. I swear. Parker was the coolest not to mention he was one of the popular guys at our school but he could be so ... healthy livingish? You get the flow.

"Shut up Nicole!" Marie shouted at me.

"Marie what did I say!?" he said to her.
"Unhealthy habits are unhealthy for the baby." she said rubbing her belly.

No Marie isn’t preggers. Yet. Parker is just.. you know.. Parker.
I know for a fact that he is gonna be the best father out there.

"That’s my girl." he said smiling then kissing her deeply. 2 minutes after that standing the awkwardly with Chase by my side. They stopped and Marie had a huge grin on her face. How cheesy.

"See you guys there." Marie said.
"Yeah yeah whatever." I said

I followed Chase to his car. It was the black Mustang I had seen earlier. When I opened the door the 'New Car smell' flowed out. I loved this smell.

After 10 seconds of sitting in his car I finally broke the silence.
"Are you gonna start the stupid car or what?!"
"Or what." he laughed.
"LOOK I DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR STUPID GAMES" I shouted at him
He quickly climbed to my seat and hovered over me.
"I’d suggest you not yell. I don’t even have directions. So are you gonna give them to me or what?" he said to me.

"Or what." I whispered too intoxicated by his minty breathe.
He smiled at me. I was so close to smiling back.
'Don’t give in Nicole' I kept telling myself.

He didn’t move until about a good 5 seconds later. I finally gave him the directions to McDonalds. He already knew where the beach was.

We pulled up beside Maries truck to find them making out. I just laughed and went to find a good spot to chill.

Chase sat down beside me.
"Look I’m not the hot idiot you think I am. I’m just hot" he said
"You’re so full of yourself." I said laughing.
"Oh you know it’s true."
I took a drink of my HiC before saying "Yeah right"
"Oh you’ve done it now!" he said before grabbing my wrist.
I stood up to break free from his grasp.

I did successfully and started to run closer to the water. I was about to take one more step when I felt Chases arm around my waist. Both of my feet were off of the sand and I was laughing that I almost cried again.

He put me down in the water and turned me around. He looked so beautiful. He smiled at me. I sm-

"Babe?!" This can’t be happening. "Who the hell is this?!"
I turned around to see Austin. My ex.
