I Missed You

You can’t leave me here too long.
I missed you
when I woke up today
I missed you
missed the words you say
I missed you
when I went to bed last night
and I missed you
telling me it’s alright
I missed you
when I sat outside
and I missed you
while I sat here and cried
I missed you
while laying in the dark
and I missed you
missed hearing your heart
I missed you
when the sky became cloudy
and I missed you
not being here with me.
I missed you
when I walked past your room
and I’m so happy
that you’ll be home soon.
