That’s what they say,
But I don’t believe so.

If that was true,
Then you’d mean nothing to me.
You’d be a vague memory,
That will soon disappear.

After everything you have done.
Brought me up.
Made me feel love.
Tore me apart.
And said we are done.

Left without an explanation.
And claimed you’d never come back.
Yet I forgave you,
And was the one who stuck an arm out.

Now I haven’t heard from you,
In a few days.
And I’m wondering,
If this will be the same.
