I Fell in Love - Chapter 2
Sorry it's so short. I found a little time so I just typed as much as I could.
*Adrian's POV*
Ugh. Stupid, stupid party. I really don't want to go. I started my car and drove to school. I noticed a pretty girl walking on the sidewalk. As I passed by, I looked at my rear-view mirror and saw Chloe. I stopped the car and poked my head out.
"Hey Prez," I said and Chloe looked up.
"Hi, student." She said and I smirked. I checked the rear-view mirror again and saw no car coming. I unlocked the doors and said, "Hop in. I'll give you a ride." Chloe blinked and went over to the other side and sat in the passenger seat.
"Thanks," she said gratefully. I nodded and Chloe put on her seat belt. I stopped at McDonald's for a moment and bought one hot chocolate. I handed it to Chloe and she held it blinking.
"It’s for you." I said and Chloe blinked and laughed.
"I thought it was for you." Chloe snickered and took a tiny sip. We, or rather I, drove back to school and Chloe hopped out, and she smiled gratefully.
"Thanks Adrian. You’re awesome." Chloe said and looked at her watch.
"ACK! Oh my gosh! I was going to go to the student council room early! Anyway later Adriana! I mean Adrain! ACK! I meant Adrian!" Chloe said panicking and dashed off. She dropped two pieces of paper and I bent down to pick it up. It’s her essay. Wow. Two pages long. She must be good in writing or something. Well I heard she’s a straight A student. Geez, she could get all type of degrees… I think. I held it in my hand and I looked for the student council room as I entered the hallway.
"Hey you with the black shirt with a red heart!" I said, pointing at a blonde girl who was with a bunch of girls. The girl turned around and smiled at me. She blushed and then fluttered her eyelashes. Hah. Nice try but I’m not falling for you missy.
"Is it ok if you tell me where the student council room is?" I asked and the girl blinked and had a bit of a disappointed face. Thought I was going to ask you out? Heck no!
"Walk down straight and turn right and then left and you’ll see a room that says student council," the girl said dully and I walked down the hallway and looked back. The girl had her head hung down and her friends were patting her back.
"Hey girl!" I yelled and the blonde girl looked up and I gave her my best smile and said, "Thanks!" The girl blushed deeply and fainted. Now how stupid is that? Weeeellll… I felt bad so… I just smiled at her. Ugh now I feel like a player for some reason….
I ended up at the student council room and poked my head in. I saw Chloe sitting in her president seat and was working on some papers.
"Eh hem. Prez, secretary here," I said in my best business voice. Chloe looked up and laughed.
"Wassup yo?" She said and I handed her the papers she dropped earlier.
"Oh thanks!" Chloe said and sat back down. I looked over and Chloe was trying to figure out some papers.
"That paper goes in that pile and the second one goes into that pile." I said after a while and pointed to some piles of paper. Chloe put in on top of the pile and continued to work. My phone rang and I answered it.
"Adrian speaking. How may I help you?" I said and I heard Chloe’s mom.
"Oh thank goodness! Adrian! Is Chloe there?" Chloe’s mom said frantically. Er… first of all, this is how I know Chloe’s mom. She was the kind person who helped me and my parents move into our house and they talked while I was in my room, checking it out. So… yeah. I think Chloe’s mom is awesome anyway. She seems cool and she has that calm and cool atmosphere around her.
"Yeah. In fact, she’s right next to me now staring at me wondering why I didn’t turn off my phone for school." I said and Chloe shot me the "look." Which meant she was gonna kill me later.
"Pass the phone please. To Chloe." Chloe’s mom said and I passed the phone to Chloe.
"Yeah what’s up mom?" Chloe asked trying to write something on the paper. Chloe suddenly looked up and turned pale.
"Which hospital?" Chloe asked and then nodded. She hung up and dashed out of the door. I followed her and she dashed towards the parking lot and I pulled her to my car. She hopped in as I started the car and pulled out of the lot.
"Where to?" I asked.
"Mercy Hospital!" Chloe said and I sped off.
"What happened?" I asked and looked at Chloe. Chloe licked her lips and then stared out of the window for a long time. She opened her mouth and said a few words that chilled me to the spine.
"My dad got in a car accident."

Important Notice - Please Read
In Chapter 1, I noticed that for some reason instead of Adrian's name, it was Jake. I deeply apologize for that. On that day, my computer was sort of retarded so it must have changed the name for some reason. It also changed some of my words in my typed up paper so... I ended up using my cousin's computer for that. But my computer is replaced so no more name changing whatsoever anymore. Thanks for understanding.
