I Fell For You ~ 5 (Finally!!!!! It Comes!!!!!)
Nathan. How do I feel about him? I took a deep breath. I knew what I needed to say.
"Nathan I-"
Wow! You guys have no idea?! Well, one of you got it (Kaliosten). Thank you commenters! I'm happy you like my story and her reaction was priceless! Well, I know you don't really care about this part so just start reading already! <3

I just stared at him, shocked by his words. Part of me was screaming and jumping with joy while the other half was confused and worried. It was good and bad.
Good because it meant that i was more than just another girl to him. I actually meant something. Bad because I don't know if I feel the same way. I've know him for a few months already but it seems like I need more time. And what if I somehow break his heart like Becky did? He would be so depressed and I'm scared of hurting him.
I opened my mouth, trying to get something out to say.
"Don't say anything yet," he cut me off, thankfully. "I just wanted you to know and if you don't feel that way, you don't have to say it. I know we haven't known each other for that long but I'm most definitely willing to wait for you. As long as it takes." He said everything in a rush. The words came tumbling out of his mouth so fast it took me a few seconds to process what he just said to me. I still didn't know what to say.
Nathan. How do I feel about him? I took a deep breath. I knew what I needed to say.
"Nathan I-" he cut me of again.
"Wait! If you're telling me you don't feel the same way and that you want to break up, I completely understand-" I cut him off this time, but with my lips. He was shocked at first by the kiss, but then kissed me back gently. I pulled away, looking him in his calming green eyes.
"Nathan, you talk too much. I'm not breaking up with you, because...I...I love you too." I sat back down and waited for his reaction. His eyes were wide with surprise and then he opened the car door. I watched him, confused, as he came over to my side. He opened the door and pulled me out.
He pulled me to him, our bodies pressed against each other, and he kissed me hungrily and passionately. My mind went blank. I had never felt this way before and his kiss was making me weak. His arm wrapped around my waist and he pulled me closer to him. We kissed for what felt like hours then he finally pulled away. My lips were numb and tingling.
I had just realized that we completely forgot about where we were. My eyes landed back on the amazing scene in front of me, a tall waterfall that fell hundreds of feet below us. We were on a cliff to the right of the top of the waterfall. I walked closer, keeping away from the edge, and looked over as much as I could. I still couldn't see the bottom, considering I was standing fifteen feet from the edge of the cliff.
"Aaron, what are you doing?" Nathan sounded amused.
"I'm just looking at the waterfall."
"Yeah...but you're standing to far back to see all of it," he said chuckling. I turned and faced him. His hair was sticking up and different places. I laughed. I must have done that when we were kissing. My lips tingled at the thought and I smiled a little.
"I know but...we're kinda high up and..."
Realization came to him and he must have remembered my fear of heights. He walked over to me and put his arms around me. I was a little suspicious because hugging me wasn't gonna help me see the waterfall without going close to the edge.
"Nathan?" He didn't answer. I laid my head on his chest, relaxing into his body. He began chuckling again and this time I knew something was up.
"Why are you laughing?" He looked down at me then the next thing I knew I was over his shoulder. He started walking and I just knew he was walking to the edge.
"Put me down! This isn't funny! Nathan!" I struggled to get loose but then I remembered that if I fell, I could easily roll off the cliff. A surge of panic filled my chest and I closed my eyes and buried my face in his shirt.
I felt him pull me off and set me on the ground. I kept my eyes closed.
"Open your eyes Aaron," he whispered. I shook my head and put my face in his chest. He smelled like my body wash, mango peach. Not too manly but still good. I felt his fingers brush up and down my back, it relaxed me and made me hot all over.
"I won't let you fall, I promise. Open your eyes," he whispered in my ear. I was suddenly not afraid anymore and I nodded.
I opened my eyes slowly and when I saw we were only a foot from the edge, I grabbed on to Nathan tighter. I even stood halfway behind him. We were higher up than I thought.
Even through my fear-fit going on in my head, I managed to take in the beauty of the waterfall. The water hitting the small lake below made a gentle rushing sound. A breeze came up from the water and my hair flew around me. I was a bit self-conscious about it now, even though Nathan has seen my hair is more worse states. I let go of him with one hand and smoothed it down.
Nathan was watching me intently and my cheeks turned pink. He seemed to be deep in thought. Was he having second thoughts? No, he looked really happy and truthful when he said he loved me. What was wrong?
"Um, Nathan...why are you watching me like that," I asked quietly. He smiled warmly and tucked a strand of wavy hair behind my ear.
"I was just wondering how I could possibly have a girlfriend as amazing and beautiful as you." Oh, wow. I didn't expect that...My blush deepened and he looked surprised.
"Since when do you blush? You always seem... more confident," he had a worried look. I had always put up a front, making people think I am a confident and strong person. They were just walls to keep how I really felt inside. Nathan was the only one who brought those walls down and now I'm here...my true self.
"I know it's just... that's how I really am. I'm not at all confident and I made myself seem like that so I could be a stronger person. Ever since my dad I..." I felt hot tears trickle down my face and Nathan wiped them away with his thumb. I never told him what really happened to my dad.
"It's okay, you don't have to talk right now. I'm here to listen whenever you're ready, okay?"
I nodded and looked back down at the water. I felt dizzy being up so high and I felt myself sway a bit.
"Whoah, are you okay? Do you wanna go back now?" Nathan pulled me closer so I wouldn't fall.
"No, I want to stay for a bit." I said quietly.
"Okay but I have an even better idea." He walked back a few feet then let go of me. I watched him as he got on the ground, laying on his stomach. He looked at me expectantly so I did the same.
He started scooting towards the edge of the cliff and then the light bulb in my head flicked on. Great idea! I scooted next to him and peered over the edge. The waterfall was just as beautiful but now I didn't have to worry about falling over.
Nathan smiled at me, a bit too cockily but I had to admit that I was happy i decided to try to get over my fear.
We laid next to each other, watching the water fall graceful off the cliff as the sun went down.
