I Drank....But You Drove

I decided to drink,
So I knew I could not drive.
And because of this I thought I was safe,
That everything was going to be alright.

MOM, you should have seen me!
I felt so proud and strong,
But sadly, that feeling did not last long!

I remember the lights along with the sound of tires,
I remember those people leaving me there.. those cowards!
Mom I'm was so scared all I can smelt was blood,
And I felt so helpless lying in the mud.

I thought I was being good by being safe,
But instead I became a victim of this place.
I feel so weak,
OH GOD someone help me please!
I don't understand why someone did not think to take those people's keys!

I felt so cold,
My breath became so slow,
There was no reason for why I had to go!....
