I Don’t Want To

Poem about not wanting to live…
I don’t want to be another statistic
A suicidal teen
Who makes a choice to kill himself
When the world seems too mean
I can’t go on with life
Reality had fallen short
And so have my many dreams
I don’t want to be another statistic
Who cuts his wrist to forget
But now I can’t turn back
First it was cigarettes and weed
Now it is razors and knives
I can’t tell my mom
And it hurts to tell friends
I don’t know what I’ll do
To make this nightmare end
I guess I’ll cut my wrist
Until I am dead and gone
