Chapter 1 Finish

I was almost done, when Katie, their 8-year-old daughter came. "Hi.." She said sleepily. "I got up because I spell something she said rubbing her eyes and yawning.

Just because this family killed my parents, somewhere deep inside, I do love them. Especially Katie. She was a sweetheart. She didn't know I was adopted, and a good thing too.

Katie scratched her head and looked at what I was doing. "Don't tell me!" She said excitedly. I smiled. "YAY! TUNA!?!!!!" She screamed. immediately, her brother Dylan (10 years) raced downstairs in his pajamas "You made tuna!? Seriously?" he said jumping. Their older sister, 14-year-old Teresa came frowning. But when she say the tuna she was like, "Oh my god! Mom! Guess what??? Lisa made tuna! Tuna sandwiches!" she shouted running up the stairs to tell her parents.

Yep. I've never in my life seen anybody so keen on tuna. Katie had already took one. and Dylan was helping himself greedily. "Okay, you better leave some for your parents.... and me." I said chuckling. I took one sandwich. I frowned. In fact I don't really like tuna THAT much, and so I just took half and went upstairs. I went into my room. I was medium-sized. I liked it. It was cozy.

One more thing, it's not that I'm happy and yay! I got another family, and have a new beginning . no. It's not like that. Life's easy. and though I'm surviving. With my enemies...

I have work to do. And my plan is to leave.

I sat on my desk, taking out my diary. Her name was Angelica, angel for short. after my mother. Whenever I looked at Angelica, my hand will automatically go towards my neck, where the silver locket was still hanging, it was written in small handwriting.

small tears welled up in my eyes as I slightly smiled.
'Mom, I remember you, I always will.'
I wrote that down neatly.

Dad... I don't know how to thank you for saving my life, and giving me a better future. I will be eternally grateful.... I love you dad.
