I Cry

I cry
When I breath my first breath.
I cry
When I fall off my bike
Or get an F in math.
I cry when daddy yells
And mommy cries too.
I cry

When mommy says we must go
And I leave my teddy bear.
I cry when grandma says God hates me
Or when the big boys won’t let me go home.
I cry
When I see the angle in church
Or I run and can't get away.
I cry

When the bad man comes
And ruins my life.
I cry when he curses me to hell
And touches me in the wrong way.
I cry
When he looks at me nastily
And beats my mom.
I cry!

I cry as I walk home
And open the door
With the gun in my hand
And the safety off.
I cry
When I see the shock on his face
And mommy beside the officer.
I cry

And yell bang as the gun in
My hand goes bang.
I cry
As I sit in that five by five foot room
Praying to God I will be forgiven.
