I Choose - Chapter 1
Here's chapter 1.
Another year of school or so I thought.
Hey my name is amber and yes it the first day back to school I know ugh but it is my third year back so it is almost over, so you must know my secret and yes it is true that I have wings, my wings are 13 feet long and that is across and black and white but that is enough about my wings. So yeah I am 17 years old and I can't wait to get to school because I get to see my homie girlfriends, and they are Julia and Natalie they are my homie girlfriends and I get to see nick and Sean they are the most hottest guys I know so don't judge me, I hear Sean and nick like someone and that they will be asking that girl out this year and I am hoping it is me so badly.
"Bye house" I say as I walk down the street and you might ask "where is my mom?", well she is never home because of work and all, her new boytoy, eww I know, well all I can say about him is that I have never met him so who cares. So you might be thinking why I don't just fly to school, because if I did then I would be found out and the world would come to an end right before your eyes; no, just kidding; the world would not come to an end but it would be bad if people knew that I had wings. So like a normal person I get on the bus I sit in one of the seats and waited for my friends. Here comes Julia and Natalie, for one thing I have no clue if they have wings or not and but I can say that I know Natalie has no wings because she is always wearing tank tops. We talked the whole ride to school, and then we were looking at it, the school no one wants to be back at.......
Well I got my classes; I got none with my friends Julia and Natalie! Now this is upsetting. So I go to English first, I look around to see if I know anyone and guess who I see!? Oh my God it can't be...its, its, its Nick! I swore he got cuter over the summer I can't believe it, so I went and sat near him and said "hi" to him, he looked at me and says "hey what's up? Did not see you much this summer", "Oh yeah I was around places, What about you?" I said. "Well I was with Sean this summer he wouldn't stop talking about this girl that he liked at school but could not ask her out last year, but he just would keep saying that she is hot, beautiful, very cute and stuff like that".
Then the teacher walked in and wrote her name on the board and it said Miss Dove, that is where I laughed like a little kid and then she looked at me and said "what is your name?" oh my God, I don't like teachers anymore then any other student, so I turned to her and said that my name was Amber fox. She did not look happy, after that she turned around back to the board and said that the lesson that we were doing was called getting to know people, we all looked at each other, I know we all were thinking the same thing, like we all know each other because we went to school with each other for so long, then class was over thank God!

Well the morning went by fast and now it is lunch and I am sitting with my homie girlfriend cause Julia is not here and it just Natalie, I could not wait any longer I had to ask "where is Julia Natalie?" and then Natalie said that Julia was going to "make her move" and I knew what she was talking about, Julia was asking nick out. That was when Natalie said "hey look there she is and oh no she does not look happy", then she sat down and I asked "so how did it go down with nick", she said that he said that he would think about it and get back to her about it. That was when Natalie and I went "woooooooo! That is almost a yes!!". Well I started to get up to go my next class when I almost forgot and then said it "hey Julia can you come by my house today?" and then she looked a little puzzled by what I said and then said "why?" and then I was the one looking puzzled because I did not want to say anything in front of Natalie so I said "just cause ok, so see you guys on the bus, bye"

So now I am walking to my next class, I am taking the long way to my math class and next thing I know I bump in to someone's back, it was Sean and then he stated to yell "what the hell, are you daydreaming while you are walking or what?!!!", then he turns to see me standing there like a stone, the next thing I know we are picking up our things and saying sorry to each other. So, we have math together, wow what a small world. Now we are walking to math, when we got to class we went to a table that was together and just started to talk about summer break, but I was not thinking about what I was saying because I was thinking about how I was going to ask Julia if she had wings, thinking about that, I had forgotten about Sean all together but then he shaked my arm and asked "are you listing?" and I looked at him and said "Yeah", then he looked at me and said "So what is your answer" I just looked at him and thought wow I probably looked like I was dumbfounded and by the look on his face it said I did. I asked "Can you repeat it for me please" I said with a puppy dog eye look and he fell for it and he said it again "um..... Amber I would like to know if you ant to go out with me, as you know, like a boyfriend and you like my girlfriend?" I said "Yes I would love to" without thinking about it. That was when a big and I mean big, smile came to his face, then he said "cool I like that a lot, I will see you after school today, wait is it ok if I come over to your place?" I looked at him and just said "Yes". And that was the end of that cause that was when the teacher came in and started class.

It is the end of the day now and I am at my locker getting my stuff, when I remembered that Julia was coming over and I had to ask her if she had wings without me letting her know that I have wings, I have no clue how I am going to do this and Sean was coming over to oh my God! how am I going to talk to them both I can't do this, and before I knew it I was at my seat on the bus looking at Sean and looking at my friends and thinking what am I going to do. That was when Sean took my hand and made me sit down and asked "is everything ok with you because you look a bit pale." I could see the worry on his face so I said I was fine and the bus started and then we were on our way.
The next thing I remember is getting off the bus with Sean and Julia, walking to my house, oh!, I forgot to tell you my mom has no clue I have wings but back to the point, I am now in my room, and we are sitting anywhere we could find and then out of nowhere Julia says "so what is so important you have to talk to me here at your place and not at school or on the phone?" but I could not help but laugh at Sean's face cause he looked so funny wondering what we were talking about and then he said "whatever you need to talk to her about is something I can know because I am your boyfriend, I can take it, I would do the same with you, you know it so start talking Amber." That was when I could not believe I was about to tell my friend and boyfriend that I had wings, I might just go crazy after this, I was looking at them and thinking how can I tell them both, I must have looked dumbfounded cause my friends look so worried.

Well I started to get up to go my next class when I almost forgot and then said it "hey Julia can you come by my house today?" and then she looked a little puzzled by what I said and then said "why?" and then I was the one looking puzzled because I did not want to say anything in front of Natalie so I said "just cause ok, so see you guys on the bus, bye"

I asked "Can you repeat it for me please" I said with a puppy dog eye look and he fell for it and he said it again "um..... Amber I would like to know if you ant to go out with me, as you know, like a boyfriend and you like my girlfriend?" I said "Yes I would love to" without thinking about it. That was when a big and I mean big, smile came to his face, then he said "cool I like that a lot, I will see you after school today, wait is it ok if I come over to your place?" I looked at him and just said "Yes". And that was the end of that cause that was when the teacher came in and started class.

That was when Sean took my hand and made me sit down and asked "is everything ok with you because you look a bit pale." I could see the worry on his face so I said I was fine and the bus started and then we were on our way.
The next thing I remember is getting off the bus with Sean and Julia, walking to my house, oh!, I forgot to tell you my mom has no clue I have wings but back to the point, I am now in my room, and we are sitting anywhere we could find and then out of nowhere Julia says "so what is so important you have to talk to me here at your place and not at school or on the phone?" but I could not help but laugh at Sean's face cause he looked so funny wondering what we were talking about and then he said "whatever you need to talk to her about is something I can know because I am your boyfriend, I can take it, I would do the same with you, you know it so start talking Amber." That was when I could not believe I was about to tell my friend and boyfriend that I had wings, I might just go crazy after this, I was looking at them and thinking how can I tell them both, I must have looked dumbfounded cause my friends look so worried.
