I Am Yours - Chapter 13 - Part 2
His secret. Who is he?
"Do you remember that locket? The one I saw when I first came here?" He nodded and I took that as my cue and continued. "Was it moving?"
He nodded as if it was the most obvious thing. At seeing my expression, he said, "There are a lot of things that you haven’t seen, and the locket was one of them. And you said you wouldn’t freak out. What happen to that?"
I growled. He sure had a point. "I am fine, just surprised that’s all."
He looked doubtful.
"Cant you just continue? I said I am fine," I assured him.
"Okay. So, your guess was right that someone in the picture was actually moving." Some one? "I know what you are thinking and let me explain. It was my locket. It belonged to my great grand father, who gave it to my dad, and now it belongs to me. It is a person that is as normal as us, but it can’t move outside the locket."
How was that possible? "Cool?"
He raised his brow as if I was crazy. "What?" I asked confused.
"I can never understand you. I thought you would freak out and run by now, and yet, here you are."
I smiled. "You can’t get rid of me that easily."
"That was why you were ready to leave me like a minute ago," his tone was light and humorous.
"That was different."
He laughed humorlessly. "It wasn’t. I bet you hadn’t even thought how I would react after you were gone." Actually he was right, I was only thinking about me, but what else was there to do?
"If you have more questions, just ask." His tone was formal again and I hated it.
"Why is this house, place and everything so different from what I had seen before?" I asked, taking advantage of the moment.
"Is it that obvious?" he asked.
"Not really, but I kind of noticed."
"That’s what I like about you." He smiled big, showing his teeth. "It’s that we are different. We are not like humans." He closed his eyes, as if the statement itself was too much to handle.
He opened his left eye to see my reaction and opened them both. "You aren’t going to kill me or leave me or anything like that, right?"
"I don’t think so. Like I said before, I don’t plan to leave you that easily."
He grinned.
"You haven’t even answered my major question. The question I really wanted to know." His face fell.
"I know you have been brave with everything, but this fact changes the whole thing. I don’t know how you will react." He hesitated to answer me.
"I want to know the truth," I pleaded. What could he be? I knew he was not normal, but what about everything else. "Please tell me."
He closed his eyes. "I am not human."
"I think you have already said that. Tell me who you are!" How was his secret so big that he couldn’t even say anything at all?
His eyes were still closed, so I couldn’t read his expression. His jaw was set and his mouth was tightly pressed together. "I am not from here. I am not from this world; I am from another world."
"Another world?" I asked, clearly shocked.
"Another planet," He corrected himself.
I gasped as the truth of his words hit me.

I have already finished writing the whole thing, but let me know if you want a happy ending or a sad ending. At first when I wrote this story, I wanted to write a sad ending, just to try things differently. There are a lot of happy ending going on Buzzle, and a sad ending will be a change. I don't know. Please let me know what you think.
