Hypoallergenic Dogs

Most people love puppies and dogs, but there are a few, who cannot keep them because they are allergic to them. Then, hypoallergenic dogs can be a solution to your problem. Hypoallergenic dogs are the one that have a lesser tendency to cause any kind of allergy or reaction to humans. Such dogs are friendly to allergic people because they shed lesser dander and hair in comparison to other dog breeds. They have few allergens in saliva and urine which are the main cause of the allergy.

There are no dogs that are hundred percent hypoallergenic, but yes, they are less allergic or you can say allergy that is negligible to a large extent. All breeds carry allergens, but hypoallergenic dog breeds carry lesser allergens. Allergens often are stuck in the clothes, bedding, carpets, etc. This is the reason that people become allergic to dogs and other pets as well. By cleaning the house and removing the allergens one can stay away from the allergies.

Hypoallergenic Dog Breeds

There are many people with severe allergies who can't even tolerate or bear such dogs. If you love dogs very much and still want to keep a dog, then you can look for some types of hypoallergenic dogs that may not cause any kind of irritation. Spend a bit of time with a breed of dog to see if it suits you or if it causes any allergic reaction and then decide for the dog that you would take home with you. Keep in mind that every individual has different allergies from different dog breeds. You can also consider certain mutts that might not cause allergy to you. As I have mentioned before that a dog causing allergy to one person might not cause allergy to another, so one must visit the dog to find whether one is allergic to him or not. These are a few dog breeds that are hypoallergenic because the list of hypoallergenic dogs is quite extensive to include all. The dogs listed here might not suit everyone, it is just for general reference. You can also look for some hybrid dogs that might be favorable for you. By controlled cross breeding of hypoallergenic dogs, you can get a hybrid dog. For example, when Goldendoodles or Labradoodles are crossed with Poodles, you get a breed that takes up the hypoallergenic qualities of your desire. So, hybrid hypoallergenic dogs can be considered low allergic.

Small Hypoallergenic Dog Breeds

Some hypoallergenic dog breeds produce lesser dander and saliva apart from less shedding so that can be kept at home. It does not mean that they do not shed at all, but the amount of pet pollens produced as well as the maintenance required is much less and causes minimum allergy. One thing that has to be kept in mind is that the maintenance of the dog is a must, which includes proper grooming, bathing regularly, brushing, etc. Also, do a small research about the breed before you plan to buy one.
