Hypnotized
This is a poem which shows cheating on others that you truly love is a terrible mistake!
Lost in your eyes,
Too blind to see,
All the hatred lies,
You sprinkle upon me.
"I love you,"
Is what you'd always say?
I thought it was true,
Little did I know what was coming my way...
How could you be so mean?
How could I have not seen?
The ugly right in front of me,
I loved a fake beauty.
My love for you has shattered,
Now I'm in the hands of another,
You're left feeling battered,
As you watch me go to someone better.
It cut you like a knife,
When you've realized,
I'm not in your life.
You've super-sized!
On my wedding day,
Enters a fat man,
That's you, by the way,
"Get lost, Stan."
You cried,
Surprise and surprise,
What's up, big guy?
Have you not realized?
That this would happen to you,
After all you put me through!
I can forget, but never forgive,
For the days that I lived,
By your side,
Hypnotized.
Too blind to see,
All the hatred lies,
You sprinkle upon me.
"I love you,"
Is what you'd always say?
I thought it was true,
Little did I know what was coming my way...
How could you be so mean?
How could I have not seen?
The ugly right in front of me,
