Hurting But Trying To MAKE IT

When you hurt all you want to do is cry
It almost feels like you are going to die
When you hurt you are in pain
It almost makes you want to go insane
When you hurt you don’t know what to do
That makes you almost want to go insane to
When you hurt you feel like you are trapped in a pit
You say to yourself
I’m sure all this hurt will be gone in a bit
When you hurt you blame yourself for the reason
It was just like one day there was a change in your season
When you’re hurt you reach out for help,
And no one is there to help.
Then you say to yourself
What do I do
When you hurt all you want to do is think.
You sit there and you try to find a link
A link to all this hurt
When you hurt you sleep
When you sleep you dream
When you dream you think about what there is to keep'
When you hurt you think about death alot.
You try to connect the dots.
When you hurt you wonder why?
That makes you cry
When you hurt there’s always someone behind that hurt
But you have to be strong and keep your head up high and get over that hurt
