A Hundred Years Of The Los Angeles Auto
One of the automotive world’s most interesting and greatly attended auto shows started out back in the year 1907. And come 2007, this auto show would be celebrating its one hundred years of being in the business.
Yes, the Los Angeles Auto Show started out back in the year 1907. It started out as an auto show that offered goers to view ninety-nine cars and vehicles inside a skating rink. However, times have changed and the Los Angeles Auto Show also changed with that. At present, it is one of the largest auto shows and has now become a major international event. It also offers goers the chance to view and gape at over a thousand new vehicles from various vehicle manufacturers.
This auto show is where automotive giants have showcased their top products. There are those Ford vehicle clad in all their Ford auto parts armor as well as the foreign brand Mercedes Benz showing off the most advanced vehicles and most sparkling Mercedes Benz body parts they have on hand.
Come this November 29th and 30th, there would be a record breaking thirty five vehicles which would be making their debuts. This number is the highest number of cars making their debuts at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Included in the thirty five vehicles are seven concept cars from a couple of manufacturers.
The Los Angeles Auto Show would be opening its doors this year to the public on December 1st up until the 10th and it will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. "This will be the best LA Auto Show ever. This is a new beginning with our new dates and increased commitment from manufacturers and everyone is anticipating even better things in the future," shares Andy Fuzesi who is the general manager for the LA Auto Show.
What could we be expecting at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show? Well, organizers of the mentioned auto show do say that any person who is interested in joining up the fun should be expecting quite a variety of designs, features, and technology here.
There would be the Lexus 460 L making its way and showing off its capacity to parallel park without any help from the driver. There also is the Chrysler Sebring which has a multimedia hard drive installed in it that allows passengers to listen to stored music, watch movies, and even view photos.
