If you have pets in the house then use flea repellent powder or sprays that are easily available in the market. Now it comes to you. One of the best and effective way of getting rid of fleas naturally is hot water tub bath. All you have to do is soak your body in the bathtub for half an hour. Let the water be very hot and add some dish detergent and lemon extract in the water that would kill the adult fleas as well as larvae. At the same time, apply some standard shampoo and leave the shampoo laden hair like that for half an hour. After that, take a fine comb and brush your hair from roots to tips so that fleas are removed. Each time before you brush your hair dip the comb in the liquid detergent solution so that fleas are killed. Once you clean the hair and body thoroughly, rub your skin with hard towel paying special attention to the areas between your toes, nape, behind and above the ears, and back of the knees, etc. Follow the above kind of bath for 2-3 times every week till you get free of human fleas.
