Hulk Hogan’s Son Transferred Out of Solitary Confinement
Nick Bollea has reportedly been transferred out of solitary confinement after a judge denied the request earlier this week.

Bollea, 17, is currently serving an eight-month sentence at a jail in Clearwater, Florida after pleading no contest to causing the car crash that left his friend critically injured. Just this week Bollea’s attorney’s requested that he be removed from solitary confinement and into the general population. His attorney argued that it was "cruel and unusual punishment." The request was originally denied because he is a minor. He is now in a communal cell with three other inmates who are also juveniles.
Bollea was behind the wheel when his car slammed into a palm tree in Clearwater, Florida on August 26. Bollea was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident and escaped with minor injuries, but his passenger, 22-year old John Graziano, was not so lucky. Graziano was reportedly not wearing his seatbelt and suffered critical injuries including a broken skull. He has been in a coma since the accident and will more than likely require lifelong care.
It was raining on the day of the crash and the accident was initially attributed to slick roads, but it was later reported that Bollea had been drinking on the day of the crash. He was also reportedly driving in excess of 100 miles per hour. Bollea was ordered to serve the eight months in jail, to complete 500 hours of community service, pay a fine of $6,500 to the Clearwater Police Department, and $450 in court fees. His license has been revoked for three years and he will also be on probation for the next five years.
