Hulk Hogan's Son Nick Released from Prison

After serving over 5 months of an 8-month prison sentence, Hulk Hogan's son, Nick Hogan, was released from jail early Tuesday morning.
Nick Hogan is a free man once again, released under terms of his probation to his Clearwater, Florida home. The last year has been a difficult one for the Hogan family and for Nick, in particular. He was sentenced to 8 months in jail after pleading no contest to felony reckless driving related to a September 2007 car crash in which is best friend was left permanently disabled.

If that horrific tragedy wasn't enough for Nick Hogan, his parents are now in the throes of a bitter and public divorce battle, which includes his mother now dating a man just barely older than Nick.

The one bright spot for the Hogan family has been Brooke Hogan's successful reality series Brooke Knows Best, which is a spin-off of the original Hogan family reality series, Hogan Knows Best. Hulk Hogan, the former television wrestling icon, was the focus of the first show, which took a behind the scenes look at the Hogan family and how Hulk chose to rule the roost.

In addition to the original 8-month sentence imposed on Nick Hogan for the reckless driving conviction, he is also serving five years of probation and must complete 500 hours of community service. This is all in addition to whatever issues must now exist between Nick and his best friend, John Graziano, who is now in need of lifelong medical care.

The Graziano family is expected to file a civil suit against the Hogans seeking monetary damages as a result of the accident. Nick Hogan was credited for three months of his original sentence as a reward for his good behavior while incarcerated.
