Hulk Hogan Divorcing

Bollea, 48, reportedly filed divorce papers on Tuesday in Pinellas County. The couple was married in 1983 and has two children, Brooke, 19, and Nick, 17. A reporter reportedly gave Hogan the bad news Friday night. Hogan was contacted by a reported from the St. Petersburg Times and asked for a comment on the filing. Hogan, 54, said that he was unaware of the filing and thanked the reported for the "great information" and hung up. He reportedly called the reporter back after five minutes and said, "I’m kind of shocked. You caught me off-guard. My wife has been in California for about three weeks…Holy Smokes. Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me. I just pulled over to the side of the road for five minutes to find out what was going on here." Hogan said that his relationship with Linda was his "private business."

Hogan and his family have been the focus of VH-1’s reality show Hogan Knows Best. Son Nick Hogan said in an interview a few years back, "We’re like the typical American family." He added, "We’re just like normal people just in a blown-up way." In an episode of the reality show the couple was contemplating splitting up, but they reconciled.

Not only is the family dealing with a divorce, they are dealing with son Nick’s felony charge stemming from an August car crash that left a friend comatose. Nick has been charged with third-degree felony reckless driving involving serious bodily harm, as well as use of a motor vehicle in commission with a felony, being under the age of 21, operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of 0.02 percent or higher and illegal window tint. The accident occurred on August 26 with Hogan reportedly drag racing a friend and crashing into a tree at approximately 106 miles per hour. Hogan’s pal John Graziano, 22, was left critically injured after suffering a broken skull. Hogan, 17, had his license suspended for one year. His license will be revoked on December 10.
