Hulk Hogan’s Divorce
Hulk Hogan has filed a counterpetition contesting his wife’s request for alimony and child support for their son, Nick.

Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, and his wife Linda reportedly separated in September after 24-years of marriage. Linda Bollea filed for divorce on November 20, 2007 in Pinellas County. Hogan reportedly was unaware of the filing until a reported from the St. Petersburg Times contacted him for a quote. At the time Hogan said, "I care for my wife, and my children are my world, and I just hope this all works out." The exact date of the couple’s marriage remains in question. Linda listed a marriage date of December 12, 1983 in her court filings. Hogan listed a date of December 18, 1983, which was the date listed in the public records.
Linda, 48, has said that the marriage is "irretrievably broken." She is requesting that Hogan pay all of her legal fees and an unspecified amount for alimony. Also, according to her filing, she wants primary custody of son Nick and half of the couple’s shared assets. The couple owns a $7.2 million mansion in Belleair, Florida; a $2.2 million beachfront property in Clearwater, Florida; and a condo in Las Vegas that is currently under construction.
Hogan, 54, said in his filing that Linda can financially support herself and help to support their son. He also feels that Nick should be able to decide which parent he would rather live with. Hogan and Linda also have a 19-year old daughter, Brooke, who is not subject to custody arrangements. Hogan did say in his filing that he would provide his family with health insurance.
