Hulk Hogan and His Wife Linda Settle Divorce

Hulk Hogan and his longtime wife Linda have battled publicly for some time now over their divorce and how everything would be doled out. Yesterday, the embattled ex-couple finally put their failed marriage to bed in the form of a final divorce settlement. At a hearing that took place yesterday morning in Clearwater, Floriday, Hogan, who is 55 years old, and Linda announced that they have finally agreed to the terms of their split. Said Ray Rafool, Linda’s attorney, "We’ve reached a marital settlement agreement."

The terms of the settlement were not made public, though 2008 court filings indicated that the couple’s net worth – amassed almost entirely by Hulk Hogan – was between $26 million and $32 million. Before the proceedings yesterday morning Hulk and Linda were seen sitting together and smiling and, at one point, Linda even kissed Hulk’s cheek. "The war is over," Linda noted after the hearing.

Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, noted, "When you’re married to someone for 23 years, you hope for the best. We just got torn apart." Hulk and Linda have two children together, Brooke and Nick, and had feuded publicly prior to yesterday’s settlement. In an April interview with "Rolling Stone" magazine, Hulk noted, "I totally understand OJ. I get it. I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody’s throat." The Hogans were married in 1983 and Linda filed for divorce in 2007. At the time, Hulk learned about the news from a reporter and responded, "Holy smokes. Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me."
