Hugh Grant Arrested
Actor Hugh Grant was reportedly arrested after attacking a photographer with an unlikely weapon…baked beans.

Grant was allegedly arrested in London after he allegedly attacked a photographer. The police cannot confirm that Grant was arrested because he has not been charged with a crime. It has not yet been decided whether or not he will be charged with a crime. A Metropolitan police rep reportedly said, "Kensington CID [Criminal Investigation Department] launched an investigation about an alleged assault on a 43-year old man following an incident on the 24th of April at about 10 a.m." The police rep continued saying, "At 7:30 p.m. a 46-year old man was arrested in connection with the inquiry and taken to a central London police station. He has been bailed to return on a date in May pending further inquiries."
Reportedly photogs Ian Whittaker, 43, and Darren Goff, 37, saw Grant arriving at his home on Tuesday morning. Goff reportedly said, "Ian went over and asked Hugh if he could take a photograph. Hugh just went off his head. He walked menacingly past me and chased Ian." Who knew Hugh could ever be described as menacing? Grant, 46, reportedly kicked Whittaker in the shins and kneed him in the groin before he pulled out the big guns…the bake beans. Goff said that Grant "got a container of food, it was like Tupperware, and threw it at Ian. It sprayed everywhere and beans ended up in my hair, too."
Grant has not commented on the incident, but his London lawyer’s reportedly did say that there was an incident and that it was being investigated. Wonder if it is more embarrassing to be caught red-handed with a prostitute or to be known as the guy who fights with baked beans?
