Kelly Ripa’s husband Mark Consuelos became an ordained minister recently and performed the ceremony. The star studded wedding was attended by such A-listers as Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman, Adam Carolla, Barbara Walters, Billy and Katie Lee Joel, Chevy Chase, and Donald and Melania Trump. Stern’s co-horts Robin Quivers and Artie Lang were also on hand to witness the nuptials. Joel serenaded the couple with two songs while Chase roasted them with a reportedly raunchy toast.
Stern, 54, and Ostrosky, 36, have been together for almost eight years and got engaged last February. Stern popped the question with a 5.2 carat diamond engagement ring. He announced their engagement on Valentine’s Day on his radio show and said he told her, "I love you. You’re everything to me. I’m asking you to spend the rest of your life with me." In March, Ostrosky said, "We’re going to get our friends together at a restaurant, very low-key." She reportedly said Saturday, "The night was perfect. Mark Consuelos was the greatest rev on the face of the earth."
This is the first marriage for Ostrosky and the second for Stern. He has three children with his first wife Alison, who he split from in 1999 after 21 years of marriage. He said he would never marry again. Earlier this year he told David Letterman during an appearance on the Late Show, "I’m a hypocritical liar, as you know. Things change, love happens, love blossoms." He has said of Ostrosky, "What we have is true love."
