How to Test the Level of Your Stress
When trying to reduce the stress people usually do not know where to start and how to approach the problem. Therefore it is important to know how to measure the level of our stress to know where and how to start our stress management plan. To find out how stressed we are we could take a stress test that can tell us precisely what are the levels of our stress.
Often times we measure the level of stress we have by merely looking at the way we perform or the output of our work. Our ability to perform more actions can be hindered when we are buried with stress, thus we immediately conclude that we are severely hit by stress. The best way to measure the level of your stress in us is by regularly seeing a physician. However, we can do minor test in order to determine if we are severely affected or just slightly tired that can be addressed with a good rest.
To initially test the impact of stress or strain within the human body, a test on our eating habit can be done. When we feel some discomforts and aches, the first factor that will be affected aside from our physical condition is our eating habit. We are forced take in minimal amount of food because we are sometimes driven by the effects of stress. Thus we lose our appetite and start to consume lesser amount of food and water as we continue to feel the discomfort.
Measuring the amount of food we take in or basically our appetite can help determine if our body is starting to deteriorate. A drastic change in our regular eating routine can trigger a large difference with how we perform in general. If you find yourself loosing some appetite without taking some diet or fat burning medications, then you may need to see a doctor and ask for an advice to solve your concern.
Another way to test the level of stress in the body is by determining how often we feel tired, dizzy, and totally helpless. If a person is stressed out the very first thing he will notice is the feeling of easily getting tired even when doing light to moderate actions. The body can easily get tired if too much pressure is applied to it. That pressure may not come externally, but internally which is the nature of stress. It affects the muscles, joints, ligaments, and tissues that can cripple a person from doing works appropriately.
Work productivity is also a great way to measure a person’s level of stress. This can be represented by how you cope up with the requirements needed to be done in a timely fashion manner. For those greatly affected with stress, work productivity is always jeopardized causing a lower impact to a person’s effectiveness. So if you notice that you or a co-worker does not provide the desired output as it was before, then the person or you could be in great trouble in dealing with the effects of stress.
