How to Take Creative Birthday Party Photos
Like all the parents, I’m always driving myself crazy in taking the perfect party photos for my kids. And I learned a lot from countless birthday party planning. If your birthday party is themed, great! You’re one-step ahead of the game.

Many party stores sell the props you will want for the party that also double as great Kodak moments. Some of these props can include cardboard stand-ups such as; a castle for the birthday princess, a Wild West jailhouse for the birthday cowboy.

Below are the most creative tips for seasonal birthday photos for any theme based kids party.

As you know, the four seasons come and go and with a little imagination, so that you can prolong the memory of the birthday and the season.

Spring
The flowers are in bloom and nature is waking up from it’s slumber. Spring is a beautiful time of year and a little difficult for photo opportunities so here my friend is were you really need to get creative!
My best suggestion is colorful bugs and butterflies. You can either purchase these or make you own. The important thing to remember is they need to be colorful!

Along with lots of balloons and streamers, you can create a perfect picture spot. Especially if you have a tree that is still bare near the bottom and has a heavy branch near the bottom that the birthday boy or girl can sit on surrounded by all the decorations!

Summer
Ahhh… The glory days of summer with the flowers in full bloom and the warm sunshine all around you! Your imagination should be running wild.

Choose your birthday theme and run with it!
My favorite summer time photo suggestion is the Hawaiian theme or Lula. It’s very popular among both kids and adults. Party stores are overloaded with decorations and props everything from tiki torches to grass skirts.

With the use of any props, you can take perfect party photos!

Fall
Fall is my favorite season and one of the easiest ones to create perfect kids birthday party scenes with. You will need to get a few bails of hay, some extra large pumpkins and rack all those leaves into a big pile.

For creative party photos you can sit your little birthday pumpkin on top of a real pumpkin, surrounded by all those colorful leaves and colorful fall balloons, even add some streamers to the mix, and snap away.

I guarantee you will have some of the best pictures you ever took and years later, you will fondly remember that fall birthday party.

Winter
Brrrr… Bundle up the birthday boy or girl and their guests for some wintertime photos.

If you have lots of snow build, a few snowmen prior to the party using food coloring get creative and make your snowmen colorful.

If you have, a sled place it in front of the snowmen and decorate it with colorful balloons, streamers, and birthday packages. You can use an assortment of empty boxes, wrap them up, and be sure to use a lot of ribbons and colorful bows (to off set the white a little.)

And the next, you'll sure to get very special birthday party photos!
