Carpet
Removal of carpet stains is necessary, otherwise the stain can spoil the beauty of your expensive carpet (duh!).
  • A carpet stain remover is the best way to remove coffee stains from the carpet. Follow the instructions of the carpet manufacturer and use the cleaning products, as per the instructions.
  • Add ½ cup of vinegar along with 1 cup of water and apply to the affected spot. It works wonders!
  • Enzyme digester is also used to remove tough coffee stains.
  • Adopting blotting method for the coffee spills that haven't dried for some time, is a very effective method for coffee stain removal.
Clothes
Removing coffee stains from clothes is necessary, because if the stains are not removed, they can become permanent and then it would be difficult to get rid of them. Some tips to remove coffee stains from clothing are mentioned below.
  • Saturate the stained area of your cloth in the commercial stain remover and wait for a few minutes. Launder the cloth immediately and get rid of the coffee stains!
  • Mix one teaspoon of white vinegar and add a quart of cold water in it. Wet a sponge in this solution and wipe the cloth where there are stains.
  • Take some egg yolks and add few drops of alcohol along with some water. Use a sponge to apply the mixture and rub it for coffee stain removal.
  • Sprinkling baking soda on the wet clothes, reduces the stains intensity and it can be easily removed by other detergent soaps.
  • Even milk is supposed to be a coffee stain remover from clothes. Wet your cloth in a bucket full of water, with a small amount of milk added into it. Wash it after a few hours.
Teeth
Drinking a lot of coffee can cause coffee stains on the teeth. So, if you have problems with the stains on your teeth, then follow the given tips.
  • If you want to keep it natural, try rubbing your teeth regularly with the backside of an orange peel. This may show good results within a short period of time.
  • Brushing your teeth with sodium bicarbonate powder, at least twice a week may also work for you.
  • Few people add hydrogen peroxide gel to the sodium bicarbonate powder, if you wish to do so, then do consult a dentist, as he can advice the proper ratio of both the chemicals
  • One of the best ways to remove coffee stains is to use neem leaf that can help to whiten the teeth. Simply rub the neem leaf regularly and see the magical effect of neem. Even brushing your teeth with toothpaste that have neem as ingredient is very much beneficial.
  • Lastly, if all methods fail, go to a professional dental care and get your teeth whitened.
Cotton, Wool and Fabrics
Coffee is one of those beverages, that can easily spoil cotton, wool and fabrics. Some tips to deal with coffee stains on these things are as follows. Act faster! As soon as the coffee spills on these things, try to pour some clear carbonated beverages like sprite and 7up (if they are readily available). Even hydrogen peroxide would do the job. Sponge the item with a clean white cloth. With a toothbrush or nailbrush, try to rub the area in circular motion. This will help remove the stain

Stainless Steel
You may be a coffee lover, but you must be like me, when it comes to hating coffee stains. The stainless steel thermos or bottle that I carry to my office often gets dark patches of coffee stains. I have tried to remove it by using a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and 1 box of baking soda. Mixing nearly ½ cup of hydrogen peroxide and 2-3 tbsp baking soda will do the job for you. Just pour this solution/paste in the flask and stir the thermos flask. Let the paste into the flask for about 30 minutes. Then rinse it with hot water. You may need to carry out the process once or twice.

Coffee Mugs
Take a few cubes of ice, two-three lemon and some salt. Now, put your stained coffee pot in the basin and use this mixture to clean the coffee stain. Lemon and salt help in removing the coffee stain effectively!
