It is effective in bringing down both the inflammation as well as the redness of such pimples. Hold the icepack gently over the pimples for one or two minutes. During application of the ice, make sure the ice does not stay on your skin for long time as it can lead to damage of the skin cells. Yogurt: Yogurt is an excellent solution for the problem of redness of the pimples. This is because the acidic properties of the yogurt can destroy the bacteria responsible for causing pimples and thus lighten the redness. For this take some plain natural yogurt and discard the whey from it. Make a smooth and creamy paste of yogurt by mixing it well. Apply the yogurt in the form of thin layer on your entire face and let it work on the pimples for about five minutes then rinse off with warm water.
